French for beginners (A1)

The beginner French course (A1) comprises 42 hours of instruction , organized into two 2.5-hour sessions per week (5 hours/week) . The course spans 2 months.

  • Basic structures in grammar (articles, genders, conjugation in the present tense) and common vocabulary (introductions, numbers, dates, colors…).

  • Learning basic greetings and polite phrases (saying hello/goodbye, thanking, simply asking for something).

  • Oral and written comprehension exercises based on very simple messages (signs, classified ads, short dialogues).

  • Role-playing games and simulations of everyday life (at the cafe, introducing oneself to a group, asking for directions).

  • Training in the pronunciation of French sounds and in reading simple words.

The courses cover the fundamental concepts:

An interactive approach that emphasizes group discussions, with practical oral and written exercises. The focus is on listening, repetition, and active participation through dialogues, videos, and visual aids adapted for beginners.
